Marine Warnings: Fresh to Strong Easterly winds Advisory (15 to 25 knots) and moderate southeast swells (2.0-3.0 m) are in force for most Solomon Islands waters.

General Situation:  A trough lies north of Solomon Islands whilst a general easterly trade wind flow persists over the Islands.

Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel Province)

East to Southeast winds at 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas and moderate southeast swells. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.

 Further outlook for Friday: Northeast to Southeast winds at 10 to 15 knots
Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central Islands Provinces)

East to Southeast winds at 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas and moderate southeast swells. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.

 Further outlook for Friday: East to Southeast winds at 10 to 20 knots.
 

Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona Provinces

East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas and moderate southerly swells. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, tending isolated over waters of Rennell/Bellona.

Further outlook for Friday: East to Southeast winds at 10 to 20 knots.
 
Honiara Port & Surrounding Areas.

East to Northeast winds at 10 to 15 knots with slight seas. Fine apart from a few showers.
 

Further outlook for Friday: East to northeast winds at 05 to 15 knots.
