Marine Warnings: A Fresh to Strong Wind Warning (15 to 25 knots) and moderate swells (2.0 -2.5m) is in force for most Solomon Islands waters.

General Situation:   A general easterly trade wind flow persists over Solomon Islands.

Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel Province)

East to Southeast winds at 10 to 20 knots, reaching 25 knots at times with moderate to rough seas with low to moderate southeast swells. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.

 Further outlook for Thursday: East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots.

Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central Islands Provinces)

East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas and low to moderate southeast swells. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.

Further outlook for Thursday: East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots.

Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona Provinces

East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas and moderate southeast swells. Isolated showers and thunderstorms with rain areas over the Duff Islands.

Further outlook for Thursday: East to southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots.

Honiara Port & Surrounding Areas.

East to Northeast winds at 05 to 15 knots reaching 20 knots at times with slight to moderate seas. Mostly fine.

 Further outlook for Thursday: East to Northeast winds at 10 to 20 knots.
